I have 12 inches. It's the most beautiful 12 inches I've ever seen. Not many people have come up to see my 12 inches but that's okay. Kris didn't know what to do with the 12 inches. She wasn't ready for it. Luckily, we had some snow shovels around and she was able to clear the deck and make a path to the winery. Winter must be here.
I've been in Seattle all week. First of all, if you get a chance to visit the wine bar in Burien, Vino Bello, by all means, do it. Thurday was my first visit there and I dug the vibe immediately.
I had a great time, as usual, at Cork Screw Cellars in Puyallup. This place is for sure, in my top 5 wine shops. After a fun afternoon I took my show on the road to South King County's newest hang out. The Wine Rack in Auburn is a new comer but I see loads of potential for the very nice hosts that had me in Saturday evening. If you live in that area stop by. Bruce loves to talk wine.
Once in a lifetime comes a wine shop that shines over the rest, a wine shop that is just a cut above the others. Many might argue, but Corky Cellars in Des Moines is the best. Great selection of wines, over the top customer service and generous case discounts makes this place worth checking out Saturday afternoon when I'll be pouring several wines. Seattle has some great wine shops but this one is my favorite. I should preface that by saying that it's always my last event before leaving for Mexico for the Holiday in Mexico with Wind Rive Cellars. If you are in the area and want to taste our current releases, get your butt down there.
As I mentioned before, if you would like to order wines for the holidays, do it by December 10. We'll cover the shipping.
Thanks for the 12 inches, Husum!
