Here's what's going on this weekend:
*Wind River Cellars Golf Scramble
*Nights in White Salmon Wine Walk
*Trout Lake Arts Festival
*Gorge Games
*Employee of the Month Runner-up, Ryan will be serving wine in the nude in the tasting room.
*Josh will be here.
For those of you that haven't read this piece of crap blog until lately, Josh is the guy that stopped by the tasting room about a year ago and didn't leave for a week. He's become one of our best friends and he and his fiance will be getting married here next week.
I'm not much of a rubber necker but if I were I would be in Trout Lake (12 miles north of us) right now to observe the forest fire activity. I thought about loading the SUV with wine and going out there to give the firefighters a treat but today when I was picking up Poison Rose (youngest son) at Summer camp, I noticed thousands of tents. They don't need wine. They need showers.
I wish I could personally thank each one of those people working on the fire. Since I can't I'll offer them an additional discount on wine. Isn't that my civic duty?
You've got a busy weekend coming up, Husum!
